UI Design
The Full User Experience
When it comes to designing a UI for a web application, I consider every aspect of the user experience. Is it usable?
Is it accessible? Is there strong information scent? Does it behave as expected? Is there feedback after interactions?
I’m passionate about championing the cause of the end user while staying committed to working within the defined
constraints of the project.
A Full Depth of Experience
I have a tremendous amount of experience designing web applications, including:
- 1999 - Tripeze.ca (now Sears Travel). A Canada-based trip booking site.
- 1999 - Photochannel.com. One of the earliest, large-scale apps for photography enthusiasts.
- 1999 - PCSupport.com. A web-based computer maintenance site.
- 2002-2004 - Futurephoto.ca. A site for consumers to upload, view, share their photos, while purchasing prints, creating
photo calendars and photo greeting cards.
- 2005-2010 - Travel Underwriters’ Partner Sales application “Partner Express”. A B2B travel insurance
policy sales site that is accessed daily by insurance brokers across Canada.

policy sales site that was designed to be easily branded to match the styling for over 100 insurance companies to date.
